Notice is hereby given that the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals will hear a Petition for a Special Permit from Section 5.3.2 “Nonconforming Uses” of the Lenox Zoning Bylaw for the property at 70 Kemble Street, owned by Shakespeare & Company, Inc, in the “R-1A” zoning district (Map 7, Parcel 22) on April 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The Special permit is to allow for the creation of an advertised, ticketed outdoor performance space in an area approximately 110’ x 80’ to be called the Roman Garden Theater, located behind the building identified as St. Martin’s from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. Log-in information will be available at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting on the Town of Lenox website (www.townoflenox.com). Comments may be submitted to the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals via landuse@townoflenox.com. Copies of the petition and other materials are available for review in the office of Town Clerk Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or on the Lenox website 24/7.
