Zoning Board of Appeals

Notice is hereby given that the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals will hear a Petition a Special Permit from Section 5.3.6 “Abandonment or Non-Use” as well as a Special Permit from section 5.3.2 “Nonconforming Uses” of the Lenox Zoning Bylaw for the property at 293 Main Street, owned by Aspinwall Acquisition, LLC, in the “R-1A” zoning district (Map 17, Parcel 34) on April 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The Special Permit is requested to reestablish the nonconforming use of the existing site as well as change of use to include the conversion of the riding rink to an art auction/gallery to include construction of a new parking lot and related work.  Log-in information will be available at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting on the Town of Lenox website (www.townoflenox.com). Comments may be submitted to the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals via landuse@townoflenox.com. Copies of the petition and other materials are available for review in the office of Town Clerk Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or on the Lenox website 24/7.
