Notice is hereby given that the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals will hear a Petition for a Special Permit from Section 5.3.3 “Nonconforming Structures” and a Variance from Section 6.1.1 (4) “Table of Dimensional Requirements” and 8.8.1 (3) “General Requirements” for the property at 242 West Mountain Road, owned by Hillcrest Educational Center, in the “R1A” and “R3A” zoning district (Map 27, Parcel 22-1 and 23) on March 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The Special Permit is for the alteration and extension of a pre-existing, nonconforming structure. The variance is requested for new construction that creates a new non-conformity which will be 14’ from the side yard. Log-in information will be available at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting on the Town of Lenox website (www.townoflenox.com). Comments may be submitted to the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals via landuse@townoflenox.com. Copies of the petition and other materials are available for review in the office of Town Clerk Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or on the Lenox website 24/7.
