Notice is hereby given that the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals will hear a Petition for an amendment to a Special Permit, granted in 1970, for exception under provisions from Section 8.1 “Motels, Inns, Hotels”, section 5.2.F.9 “Hotel, motel, inn” as well as Site Plan Review from section 3.5 “Site Plan Approval in the C-1A and C-3A Zones” of the Lenox Zoning Bylaw for the property at 194 Pittsfield Road, owned by Lalji, Inc, in the “C-3A” zoning district (Map 22, Parcel 28 & 29) on March 3, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The Special Permit is for renovations of rooms and façade, conversion of existing lobby and managers apartment to five new rooms (for a total of 65 rooms), construction of an addition for a new registration area, lobby, and small bar area (for a total of approx. 3000 square feet), and construction of an outdoor patio.  Log-in information will be available at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting on the Town of Lenox website (www.townoflenox.com). Comments may be submitted to the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals via landuse@townoflenox.com. Copies of the petition and other materials are available for review in the office of Town Clerk Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or on the Lenox website 24/7.
