NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Chapter 131 Section 40 Massachusetts General Laws, the Lenox Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing at the Lenox Town Hall on Thursday, September 7th at 7:30PM on the subject of a Request for Determination of Applicability filed by Susan Griffis for property located at 64 Bramble Lane, Map 1, Parcel 49. The proposed project includes the demolition of a deck on the north facing side of the house and then construction of a new deck in the same location. The closest activity is approximately 25’ from the edge of Laurel Lake. The new deck will be supported with helical piles, which are drilled into the ground and eliminate the need for excavation. As a precautionary measure, straw wattles will be installed around the work area.
