The Town of Lenox is applying for $850,000 in relief funds for micro-enterprises hurt by the COVID-19 global pandemic. As part of the application process, we are required to hold a public hearing. This hearing will be held on May 28 via Zoom. Please contact Land Use Director Gwen Miller at [email protected] if you have questions.
We are the lead municipality of seventeen total communities seeking the total of $850,000. All are Southern Berkshire towns.
Under the proposed program, the term “microenterprise” means a commercial enterprise that has five (5) or fewer employees, one or more of whom owns the enterprise. Up to $10,000 per business may be provided through the program to qualifying businesses adversely impacted by COVID-19.
