Wastewater Division

Responsibilities

The Wastewater Division is responsible for the maintenance of the Town’s wastewater treatment system.

The Division operates a wastewater treatment facility on Crystal Street and three pump stations on the west, east, and north sides of Lenox. The wastewater treatment facility is designed to treat an average daily flow of 1.8 MGD and a peak flow of 4.1 MGD.

The Wastewater Division is an "Enterprise Fund" which means it is designed to operate on funds received exclusively from rates and fees.
