About Us
The Scholarship Committee was established in 1989 by a group of citizens with the purpose of offering some financial assistance to our Lenox graduating seniors and post graduates who plan to pursue higher levels of education including college, graduate school, trade school or other educational programs.
The Class of 2018 was awarded $20,500. Awards vary based upon the Committee’s assessment of need, academic achievement, community service and the quality of the essay the students submit.
The number of students looking for scholarship assistance is growing and our goal of raising and distributing $25,000. We are grateful to our many town residents for their contributions, and we are hoping to increase future participation and support.
