Notice is hereby given that at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Lenox Town Hall, 6 Walker Street, Lenox, the Zoning Board of Appeals will hear the Petition of Jennifer Sagalyn concerning property located at 40 Sargent Brook Road (Map 1, Parcel 29). The petitioner requests a special permit under Section 3.3.3, or in the alternative a variance under Section 3.3.4, to construct an addition to the existing screen porch, which is attached to an existing single-family house. The existing house and screen porch are located within the required side yard setback of the eastern property line.   The requirement is 25 feet and the existing house is 9.66 feet to the eastern property line.  The proposed addition is 37 square feet of floor area and will be 9.75 feet to the eastern property line.  Copies of the application, plans and supporting materials are available for inspection at the office of the Lenox Town Clerk during regular business office hours.
