Zoning Board of Appeals

Notice is hereby given that at 7:15 pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Lenox Town Hall, 6 Walker Street, Lenox, the Zoning Board of Appeals will hear the Petition of Frank and Loraine S. Tabakin concerning property located at 33 Hubbard Street (Map 47, Parcel 21). The property is in the R-15 zone.  The Petitioners request a Variance from Bylaw Section 3.3.4 to construct a new detached garage 3.98 feet from the western property line where the setback requirement is 20 feet.  The Petitioners also request a Variance to exceed the required maximum building coverage of 20% in the R-15 district.  The Petitioners propose 22.9% building coverage.  Copies of the application, plans and supporting materials are available for inspection at the office of the Lenox Town Clerk during regular business office hours.
