In accordance with section II. B. of the Town of Lenox, Massachusetts Personnel Policy Manual,
the following vacancy is being posted:

Directs staff and day-to-day operations of the Lenox Library. Ensures the provision of positive,
courteous and professional assistance to library visitors regarding all library related services,
with special emphasis on the unique historical elements of the Town and with special care and
attention toward youth programming. Serves under the supervision of the Chief Administrative
Officer. Requires advanced degree in library or information science from a graduate program
accredited by the American Library Association. Certification in Library Science is required and
may not be substituted with other education or work experience. 5-8 years of library experience,
with increasing levels of supervisory and managerial experience.

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000; DOQ
