The Department is responsible for the improvement and maintenance of the Town's infrastructure: roads, water treatment system, water distribution system, wastewater treatment system, wastewater collection system, storm drainage system and cemeteries.
Responding to requests for assistance, whether they are requests to correct a problem with the infrastructure or to provide water or sewer billing information, is a major function of the Department. The Department continues to identify large scale, long-term needs which are then incorporated into the Town’s financial plan.
