Notice is hereby given that at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the Lenox Town Hall at 6 Walker Street, Lenox, the Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals will hear the Petition of Joseph D. Burke, concerning property located at 10 Catherine Street (Map 38, Parcel 17). The property is in the R1A zone. The Petitioner requests a special permit under Section 5.5 or, in the alternative, a Variance form Section 8.4. The petitioner seeks to remove his existing garage and replace it with a larger garage. The exiting garage is non-conforming as to the rear setback which is presently 6 inches instead of the required 25 feet. The proposed garage meets the 25 feet side setback requirement. Copies of the application, plans and supporting materials are available for inspection at the office of the Lenox Town Clerk during regular business office hours.
